Jackson Casino

My time spent at Jackson Casino was an amazing experience and taught me something I hope to never lose…Speed and efficiency. I had been designing for over a decade, by the time I was hired by Jackson Casino and was no stranger to difficult or intricate designs. The thing I was not used to however was the time in which they wanted these designs completed. Jackson Casino (like most casinos) move very quickly, and are all about aesthetics. In other words, they want the best work you’ve ever created in less time than you normally would take to complete it. Sounds terrible right? But the reality was that it wasn’t terrible, and helped me learn to design in half of the time. If I am hired and am able to complete the job in half the time with better or equal quality than other designers then it’s not just the client benefitting from my speed, I am as well. I am able to complete more jobs with less time than I was able to prior to working with Jackson, and i’m grateful for the experience I gained working with them.

During my time with Jackson I was given a multitude of creative tasks such as:

Poster design, Videography, food photography, portrait photography, billboard design, mailer print designs etc. Being exposed to that many creative outlets at once was a dream for me, and something i’m happy I was able to experience.

I had been doing photography for over a decade when Jackson hired me for design. I didn’t have to volunteer my photography skills for long before they started utilizing me to capture their new menu items, hotel rooms, and employees. It was an awesome experience to be able to bounce between photography and design on a weekly basis.
